Dr. Michael Schön

Numerical modelling of anaerobic digestion processes in agricultural biogas plants.

Doctoral thesis – University of Innsbruck
Field of Environmental Engineering

Topic of the present thesis was to apply an accepted mathematical simulation model (ADM1-Anaerobic Digestion Model No.1 of the International Water Association IWA) to mono- and co-fermentation of agricultural by-products – in particular liquid manure – and achieve an insight into recurrent modes of action.
