The Light Rail Tram (LRT) Dublin, also called the LUAS tram, currently consists of two independent lines with differing track systems. In some parts of the existing ballast less track system damage occurred within a short time after the installation.
FCP was in charge of the design for the partial rehabilitation and refurbishment of the existing track. There, the existing Edilon Blocks were replaced with the Vossloh rail fastening system 336 which was placed between the blocks. In total, nine curves were affected, with a track length of 1,600 m approx. In the end, 4,300 rail fastenings were installed.
