Vienna, 21 January 2026_ From the beginning of the new year FCP has reinforced its technical and organisational competence: Josef Fladischer and Philipp Karte were appointed authorized representatives by the FCP Management as of 1 January 2026. The two experienced civil engineers take over extended management tasks and will contribute even more to the further strategic development of FCP in Austria and abroad in future. The appointments point out the fact that FCP strives for promoting responsibility within the company and making further developments possible.
Josef Fladischer: assume responsibility, shape structures
Josef Fladischer regards his appointment to become authorized representative as a sign of appreciation and as an incentive: "The new role gives me the possibility to help shape FCP more actively in future. I am grateful for the trust in me, and I am willing to assume the new tasks with respectful responsibility and drive."
„ The new role gives me the opportunity to actively shape FCP in the future. “
Josef Fladischer
His professional career with FCP was characterized by challenging projects ranging from his first own project Health Care and Prevention Centre Sitzenberg to the rehabilitation of Volkstheater Wien - "as Viennese the revitalization of a historic object is always a personal highlight" – up to the international large-scale project ESMC (European Semiconductor Manufacturing Company) Dresden. The guidance of a big, international team under high deadline pressure is a constant challenge, at the same time, however, a privilege for continuous personal and technical development.
In his new role in the field of Structural Design Buildings Josef Fladischer would like to further strengthen the internal solidarity and the successful cooperation between the different fields. A special concern is the consolidation of existing partnerships as well as the establishment of sustainable cooperations to further strengthen the high qualification of FCP in Austria and to successfully position us internationally.
Philipp Karte: cooperation as key to project success
Philipp Karte, previously head of the Competence Center Bridge Design & Structural Analysis at FCP, considers his appointment to become authorized representative as a step in his personal and professional development: "I thank the management for the assignment of a wider responsibility in the field of civil engineering, and I am looking forward to the new tasks. I also see the new function as a great chance for further personal development."
„ I see the new role as a great opportunity for professional and personal development. “
Philipp Karte
His most important projects include “Verdiepte Ligging”, a tunnel project in the town of Groningen (the Netherlands), whose complex project handling was a special challenge, Nordbrücke in Vienna, a bridge with varied intersections in the inner-city region, as well as the large-scale project High Speed 2 (UK), which had impressive dimensions.
In his new function Philipp, who was born in Upper Austria, has a clear focus on the human factor:
“Despite the technological progress and the chances arising from the latter, the successful cooperation of people remains decisive for project success and quality of life.”
Accordingly, he would like to specifically strengthen the relationships with clients, employees and project partners, further develop civil engineering nationally and internationally – in particular on the German market - and intensify the cooperation with the branches in Germany, Romania, Moldova and Slovakia.
Competence within the company
By appointing Josef Fladischer and Philipp Karte FCP consequently counts on internal expertise, long-term project experience and management competence. The two new authorized representatives are examples for the claim of the company to sustainably combine technological excellence, human cooperation and international orientation.
