FCP Supports the Wings for Life Team

Thu, 28.05.2020

On Sunday, 3 May 2020 the annual “Wings for Life World Run” took place. In this worldwide event all participants run for persons who cannot run themselves. Due to the Corona pandemic this year all runners started their individual app run at the same time all over the world. 100 % of all entry fees and donations go to spinal cord research in order to heal paraplegia.

On this occasion FCP supported the team "Christians Weinkeller” by Christian Nemetz by sponsoring an exoskeleton therapy. This technologically highly interesting and innovative robot suit helps people in wheelchairs stand up. If this arouses your curiosity and you would like to know how this works, please read the success story of the Austrian company tech2people“.

Christian Nemetz would like to thank FCP for their great support. Since a bathing accident in 2016 Mr. Nemetz has been paraplegic and has been sitting in the wheelchair. Despite all restrictions he is positively looking into the future and draws strength from his family and friends as well as his work in his wine cellar, www.christians-weinkeller.at, which has become one of his main tasks apart from his health. For about a year Christian Nemetz has undergone the exoskeleton therapy which is offered by the company “tech2people”. This treatment offers a chance to Christian to stand upright, to walk and to meet people face to face. He is infinitely grateful for this chance.
