„ Prof. Helga Kromp-Kolb “
Universität für Bodenkultur Wien
Helga Kromp-Kolb is a professor emerita of meteorology and climatology at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, where she also founded and directed the Center for Global Change and Sustainability. As a university lecturer and researcher, she focuses on issues related to the dispersion of pollutants in the atmosphere, climate change, sustainable development, societal transformation, education for sustainable development, and the necessary paradigm shift in science and society. She played a key role in the founding of the Climate Change Center Austria (CCCA) and the Alliance of Sustainable Universities in Austria, and is a member of the steering committee of the inter-university project UniNEtZ.
