Papers from all fields of civil engineering can be submitted, in particular:

  • construction engineering
  • traffic route construction
  • structural and civil engineering
  • material and building material technology
  • assessment and maintenance of structures
  • sustainability
  • water management
  • digitization

How to Apply

Deadlines

Submitted theses must not be older than 24 months as of the submission deadline of 31 May 2026.
Preisgelder

Prize Money

One award each is given for a diploma thesis and a dissertation. A total prize fund of € 10,000 is available.
Studierende

Who can participate?

The award is open to students at Austrian universities who have successfully completed a diploma thesis or dissertation.
Preisverleihung

Award Ceremony

The award ceremony takes place as part of the Faculty Day of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering at TU Wien. 
Auswahlverfahren

Selection Process

The award winners are determined by a high-calibre selection committee made up of representatives from TU Wien, the University of Innsbruck, and FCP.

Please submit your application by 31. Mai 2026 at the latest.
