New rooms for contemporary education – a modern educational centre for the children in Pressbaum.
Three kindergarten groups, twelve studying rooms for the secondary school and one learning area for the senior classes of the grammar school for temporary eduction were established in an annex as well as a demolished, renovated and modernized old building.
Due to shortage of space and time-worn building fabric from the 1970s on the school campus of Sacré Coeur Pressbaum renovation and extension was urgently required. The challenge was to combine rooms for a secondary school, a kindergarten, the grammar school as well as the refectory with kitchen in the newly planned building part.

In the annex and the renewed old building attractive and inspiring rooms for contemporary education were established for three kindergarten groups, twelve studying rooms in clusters for the secondary school and a learning area for the senior classes of the grammar school. Rooms for common use and an area for after-school childcare are accommodated on the ground floor apart from the kitchen and the newly designed refectory.
