Through innovative measurement systems such as BRIMOS®, LIMOS® and WIMOS®, we record the condition of technical infrastructure – extending service lives and ensuring sustainable operation.
Structural Health Monitoring – BRIMOS®
Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) encompasses a comprehensive range of services for the condition and load-bearing capacity assessment of structures, as well as the development of new measurement systems and components within the framework of national and international research projects.
- Measurements and monitoring of bridges and other structures as part of BRIMOS® investigations
- Long-term measurement data acquisition for structures at risk
- Measurement-based analysis of buildings and large structures
Mast Stability Testing – LIMOS®
Masts have a limited service life and are exposed to a wide range of adverse influences – external moisture (rain, dog urine, etc.), internal moisture (condensation), aggressive soil conditions, and a variety of loads (wind, signage, cantilevers, guy wires, etc.). These factors lead over time to corrosion-related reductions in cross-section and load-bearing capacity, as well as material fatigue.
To ensure mast stability, regular stability inspections at defined intervals are therefore required.
We offer mast stability testing covering the following:
- Measurement-based investigation using the LIMOS® method and ultrasonic measurements
- Visual condition assessment
- Evaluation of measurements and visual assessment
- Classification, combining measurement and visual inspection with empirical values from the mast database
- Storage of all data in a database
Your advantages:
- No traffic disruption
- Walk-by system (minimal space requirement)
- Non-destructive testing
- Initial assessment carried out immediately on site
- Data transfer adaptable to interfaces of any specialist information system
Monitoring Offshore Wind Structures – WIMOS®
FCP provides condition monitoring systems and services for offshore wind structures under the brand WIMOS®. WIMOS covers the monitoring of offshore wind turbine generator foundations (bottom fixed and floating), of offshore sub-stations and of offshore converter stations (HVDC).
