The project is an invited architectural competition where the existing floor layout of the historic brick masonry building was adapted and the building was complemented by an attic conversion. The structural supplements comprise the erection of balconies facing the courtyard, a lift system, basement compartments and garage spaces for cars and bicycles. These measures lead to increased living quality and enable a high degree of inner-city residential culture.
