The redesign of Rotenturmstraße received the VCÖ-Mobility Award Vienna 2019 by VCÖ and ÖBB.

Rotenturmstraße between Stephansplatz and Schwedenplatz is completely newly designed considering the daily passers-by – approx. 30,000 persons.

The project area, a shared zone, is provided with new trees, fountains and seating furniture, the new surface is established with Austrian granite pavement.
