New Leading Roles Reinforce the Management and International Cooperation

Cross-site cooperation is specifically strengthened by the appointment of Alexander Martha to the position of authorized representative of FCP as well as of FCP IBU. This development is expected to boost the total “infrastructure” market in Germany and offers committed colleagues the chance to actively shape the market development in Germany.

„ The successful onboarding of the engineering office in Essen has created the basis for a stable and sustainable company group. “

Alexander Martha

Alexander Martha sees the step as consistent further development since the consolidation of FCP with FCP IBU located in Essen in 2019, “The successful onboarding of the engineering office in Essen and the employees of IBU into the FCP-group has led to deep integration and created the basis for a stable and sustainable company group.”

Old Values and Future Trends in Project Management

Victoria Dorner has been active in various roles as project manager since her start with FCP in 2018: project control, design-build and technical and financial control. Her focus is on the creation of a motivated and successful work environment characterized by open communication, mutual respect and clear structures. In her opinion these values are not only decisive for the team spirit but also important to react to challenges and developments:

„ Digitization, sustainability and the application of agile methods are definitely parts of the central developments in project management of the building sector. “

The known trends like digitization, sustainability and the application of agile methods are definitely parts of the central developments in project management of the building sector. Apart from that I am convinced that alternative contract models as for example partnering or alliance contracts will gain further importance.

Networking and Efficiency as Key to the Future

Robert Janisch focuses on the further development of the employees as well as a closer networking of the Competence Centers (CCs). “Our objective is to identify hidden synergies – in particular in the design-build sector – and to integrate them into daily project work. This creates more efficient processes, increases the economic performance and at the same time improves the work-life balance of our team”, declared Robert Janisch, who was born in Vienna.

For the future he sees clear trends in areas like BIM and AI-supported planning, climate-neutral building and modular construction methods. “Technological, ecological and social developments will strongly affect the construction sector – from the circular economy to urban re-densification.”

A Strong Team for the Future

With the specific personnel decisions of the last months and the consistent orientation at the strategic columns innovation, sustainability and a human-centered approach FCP sends out a clear signal: a strong, motivated team and innovative approaches are the key to a successful and sustainable development – both local and international.
